Comfort Crew was created from real, hands-on experience and a genuine appreciation for small businesses.

Founder Loren Mullins first developed her passion for marketing while working at Herongate. The original Herongate Barn Dinner Theatre always held a special place in her heart, and when it later reopened under new ownership (as Herongate Barn Restaurant), she returned because she wanted to help keep the spirit of the place alive for as long as possible. Even though she worked in a regular employee role, she cared deeply about the business and the community it created.

When Loren learned the restaurant was shutting down again. This time felt more permanent. She found herself trying to come up with every idea she could to help.

That process opened her eyes to something bigger: how much pressure small business owners face, and how overwhelming the digital side of running a business has become.
